1 whole chicken
2-3 cup water
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
6-8 pieces of garlic chopped, sliced or minced
lemon juice to taste
1/2 tsp pepper or 15 solid pepper corns, your preference
2 Bay leaves

In a large stock pot, mix all ingredients together. Place entire chicken into the mixture. Bring to a boil then turn on low, cook until chicken is done. Serve over rice, I prefer jasmine rice.
