Waffle iron hash browns
These were easy to make and turned out awesome! I love that the taters r so crispy cooked this way. I used a Belgian waffle maker which takes a lot more taters to get them to waffle so next time I will only fill half the iron. If you have a regular waffle maker I bet they would be even better, more crispy and thinner.
Ingredients:
tater tots
Spray Pam or oil (my iron doesn't usually stick so next time I will try without for easier cleanup)
Fill waffle maker with your tots and kinda press down the lid until they get flat. (Takes a minute or so) open and add more wherever is needed to fill in the holes. Let it go for a few minutes. I let it go past the timer for medium waffles to be done and just kept checking on them.
