Carol's Cheese Grits

Carol's Cheese Grits
1 c. grits
4 c. milk
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese, divided
...1 (3-oz) wedge fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
additional butter
Mix grits with milk. Cook according to package directions. Beat the grits with softened butter for 1 minutes. Butter a shallow dish and spoon in half of the grits. cover with 1/2 cup of Swiss cheese. Spoon in the remaining grits. Top with remaining Swiss cheese and Parmesan cheese. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.Last edited by LariP; 01-18-2013 at 09:17 PM.
