Beer or 7-up Bread
Beer or 7-up Bread
3 Cups Self Rising Flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
12 oz. can of beer or 7-up
Place flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Pour in beer or 7-up ( pour your liquid into a tilted bowl, just like pouring a draft beer, that self-rising flour likes to foam up a speck).
Mix until ingredients are blended. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 375 for 55 minutes or until golden brown. One cup of raisins or nuts may be added to the batter before baking if desired.Last edited by LariP; 01-19-2013 at 08:08 PM.
