    Tamale Pie

    2 lbs. ground chuck
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 can ( 16 oz ) whole tomatoes
    1 can ( 16 oz ) corn, drained
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    S&P TT
    1 can ( 6 oz ) pitted black olives, drained
    3 c. milk
    2 c. cornmeal
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

    Brown together hamburger and onion. Add tomatoes, with juice, corn, chili powder and salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and add olives. Mix milk with cornmeal and cook until thickened. Line bottom and sides of a 3 qt. casserole dish with cornmeal mush. Add meat mixture and top with cheese. Bake @ 325 for 30 minutes.
