This is a dish I made last night in order to eat it for lunch today. I love sweet 'n sour anything
I made these this morning for breakfast and I think they turned out so moist and delicious! They're also a little lower in sugar
Braised Short Ribs in Red Chili Sauce
3 pounds pork short ribs
Vegetable oil for sauteeing
Sea salt and freshly ground back pepper
Green Tomato Pineapple Chutney
Makes 5 half-pints
3 lbs green tomatoes, cored and chopped into 3/4-inch dice (about 8 cups)
Canned Tomatoes
10 lbs plum tomatoes or 10 lbs sun jersey tomatoes
4 teaspoons coarse salt
2 teaspoons citric acid
I thought this would be either weird or interesting, but I loved it! It was sweet and savory at the same time. I really liked the flavor of the thyme.
