Do The Baked Potato in your Crockpot!
I never would've thought I could get delicously "baked" potatoes by cooking them in my crockpot, but the proof is here! Last night, at around 9pm, I placed about 6 Russet potatoes (scrubbed, dried, salted, and then wrapped tightly in aluminum foil), into my crock pot. I turned it on to "Low" and let it cook til I woke up at 5am today. (8 hours, plus or minus).
The results were great! I took one of them 'taters to work with me for lunch and ate it with a wedge of brie, cucumbers, my homemade "tuna cake", and mustard and relish. Yummy. So there you go, another way to bake those potatoes and so much better than the microwave too!

Was the skin soft (microwave style) or harder like from the oven? I love this idea cuz it is much easier for making a lot at once.
