crock pot Asian inspired chicken teryaki
very nice and easy recipe - can be served with rice or egg noodles serves 4



3 skinless chicken breasts
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce ( i mixed light and dark )
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. dry ginger seasoning
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

and to thicken sauce (optional) :
1/4 cup cold water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch

Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker

In a separate bowl, mix together remaining indigence until combined.
Pour the mixture on top of the chicken breasts. Cover slow cooker, and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and shreds easily with a fork.
Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon to a separate bowl and shred it using two forks -return it to the sauce to make sure its well combined

but if you don't like the thickness of sauce add cornstarch and water but make sure its well combined before you add it to the sauce so it wont be lumpy -then add chicken mix well and serve warm
