crock pot fireside lamb chop hot pot
this is fairly basic recipe when you got veg that you have to use up
- 8 lamb chops
- 3 large onions, cut into cubes
- 3 large carrots sliced (frozen)
- 2 (720g) swede, peeled, chopped
- 1/3 cup cornflour
- 2 stock cubes, crumbled
1 lamb oxo cube - 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 6 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 dried bay leaves
- 1,5 cup frozen peas plus salt and pepper to taste if needed
1)cover lamb chops in cornflour and then put everything into slow cooker , and add 1/4 cup of water -to stop everything from sticking on the beginning
2) cook on low for 6hours or up until meat is tender
3)if needed add salt and pepper to taste -serve with potatoes ,
