crock pot fireside lamb chop hot pot

this is fairly basic recipe when you got veg that you have to use up

  • 8 lamb chops
  • 3 large onions, cut into cubes
  • 3 large carrots sliced (frozen)
  • 2 (720g) swede, peeled, chopped
  • 1/3 cup cornflour
  • 2 stock cubes, crumbled
    1 lamb oxo cube
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 1,5 cup frozen peas plus salt and pepper to taste if needed

    1)cover lamb chops in cornflour and then put everything into slow cooker , and add 1/4 cup of water -to stop everything from sticking on the beginning
    2) cook on low for 6hours or up until meat is tender
    3)if needed add salt and pepper to taste -serve with potatoes ,
