    Chicken and dressing

I tried this one tonight and it is a winner! I don't know where I found the recipe, I know I cut it down to feed two of us with leftovers.

    4 boneless skinless chicken breast
    5 slices Mozzarella Cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. milk
    2 c. stove-top chicken flavored stuffing
    1/2 c. butter
    Salt and pepper to taste.

Spray crock with EVOO, place chicken on bottom, place mozzarella cheese slices on top.
Combine cream of mushroom soup and 1/4 cup of milk and spoon on top.
Sprinkle 2 c. of stove-top chicken flavored stuffing dry, on top
Melt 1/2 cup of butter and drizzle on top of stuffing.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Remove a breast and put stuffing on top of the breast, it does thicken up.
I made mashed potato's and some corn to go with it, it is a great comfort food.

    Looks simple and good!

I'm wondering though....the pork chops were that much better with wine.....

This was great! EVERYONE loved it, which is good when you are trying to please 6 people!

I think next time I will use Chicken Breast on the bone or breast tenderlions. I just don't like boneless chicken breasts as much as bone in or the tenderlions.

I also think it would be worth try it with Mrs. Cubbinsons cubed stuffing too

@Desert Sky, Joe thought the same thing, he thought the breast were a bit dry, he said next time do it with the breast on the bone.
