Sea-Salt Caramel Brownies
My daughter & I are addicted to the new Sea-Salt Caramel faze going on, we had some amazing ice-cream in Gatlingburg while we were on vacation!!! I found this recipe and tried it out this weekend… super easy & amazing!!!
1 package fudge brownie mix (I used Ghiradelli double chocolate)
Eggs
Vegetable oil
Water
20 individually wrapped caramels
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoons coarse sea salt
1. Heat oven and prepare brownie mix as directed on the box. After placing brownie mix in an 8 x 8 baking pan, set aside.
2. Make caramel sauce as instructed below… then drizzle on top of brownies.
3. Bake brownies as instructed on package, and remove from oven.
4. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt, cool brownies before cutting.
Caramel Sauce - Place unwrapped caramels and milk in microwaveable safe bowl. Micro for 1 minute and then in 10 second intervals, until caramels are easily whisked. Whisk until caramels mixture is smooth and thoroughly combined.
*** You could add 1/2 tsp of Espresso powder to the mix, but my kids don't care for that!!!

Oh wow, Tracey, this sounds really good. I love Ghirardelli's brownie mixes too so i can only imagine how this will taste with the caramels and sea salt! I think i will make this, then eat with some vanilla ice cream on top!
