Cream Cheese Squares
**Winner** Delightful Dessert August 2012
Cream Cheese Squares
2 8OZ. PKGS. CREAM CHEESE(SOFTENED)
2 CANS PILLSBURY CRESCENT ROLLS
1 CUP SUGAR
CINNAMON SUGAR
SPREAD 1 CAN CRESCENT ROLLS IN BOTTOM OF 9X13 PAN. MIX CREAM CHEESE AND
1 CUP SUGAR, SPREAD OVER CRESCENT ROLLS. SPREAD OTHER CAN CRESCENT ROLLS ON TOP OF CREAM CHEESE. SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON SUGAR. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 25 MINS. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT AND CUT INTO SQUARES.
I have also replaced the cinnamon sugar topping with chocolate icing on top and that was a hit with co-workers who love anything chocolate.

Re: Cream Cheese Squares
There are certain things I don't make just because I CAN NOT stop myself from over eating.
These are one of those things.

Re: Cream Cheese Squares
Oh my gosh, I made these again yesterday but decided to add a little bit of fudge ice cream topping on top of the cream cheese mixture then topped it with the other crescent roll. WOW! As if the recipe needed any help but this made it even better! Thinking a raspberry mixed in would be yummy too!

Re: Cream Cheese Squares
I think any type of jelly or syrup mixed with the cream cheese or topping it would be yummy.

Re: Cream Cheese Squares
I'm making just one roll. Added sliced apples chunks. I just sprinkled the cinnamon sugar on the roll, sliced off chunks of the cream cheese and put under and over the apple slices and topped with more cinnamon sugar.....In the oven now.
