    Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes

    1 package (about 18 ounces) yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
    1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
    1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans, divided
    1 container (16 ounces) cream cheese frosting
    3/4 cup peanut butter

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 24 standard (2 1/2 inch) muffin cups with paper baking cups.

    Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir in 3/4 chocolate chips and 3/4 cup walnuts. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling two-thirds full.

    Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pans on wire racks. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

    Combine frosting and peanut butter in medium bowl until well blended. Frost cupcakes; sprinkle woth remaining 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup walnuts.
