What is your favorite cereal?
I've been on this Fiber One kick lately. I love the "original" a lot--very filling and low cals and I like the subtle sweetness. Then I found a Fiber One "chocolate" version...love that too...tastes like coco puffs. Then today at Target found they were all on sale so I got this honey flavored Fiber One.
When I was a kid, I loved Captain Crunch and Lucky Charms, and Trix. Are any of you old enough to remember Count Chocula and Frankenberry cereals? Maybe they're still around but those were some other faves, especially b/c they'd come w/these cool stickers inside.
What are yours?

Re: What is your favorite cereal?
Ooh the cool toys. They don't do that anymore do they? Sad! As a kid I ate golden Graham's and fruity pebbles... Kellogg's raisin bran, and the rest of the yummy ones. Fruit loops, frosted flakes.... Anything sugary I think. Lol
Now I love honey bunches of oats with strawberries and cinnamon life. Can't think what else I buy for the girls. I try and keep their cereals much less sugary than ours were growing up.

cali~jenn, i don't think they do the toys/prizes in the boxes anymore...maybe too many lawsuits these days with kids choking on them. Now that you mention Fruity Pebbles...another one I used to eat. I liked it when the milk would turn that pink-purple color! I never liked Raisin Bran tho, but Life cereal's another one I got into as I got older (not enough sugar for me when i was little i guess). Apple Jacks and Lucky Charms were good ones too. I can go on and on....

Re: What is your favorite cereal?
I can't eat the non sweet cereals even today. The life has to be cinnamon or I will want to add sugar which isn't good either. As a kid my mom would buy Cheerios to keep us healthy and I would dump a gallon of sugar on them. Then spoon the sugar and milk from the bottom of the bowl when done. Lmao.

Mmmm. I used to love the plain, non-sweet Chex cereals!
Now I eat one called Bare Naked, even though it is very sweet (to me, I'm anti-sweet) but it is really yummy granola stuff with rocks & twigs & sticks! LOL!

Actually I rarely eat cereal anymore, my breakfast is coffee, and more coffee. Then a bit more coffee.

Re: What is your favorite cereal?
My favourite cereals are the plain Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fibre One Raisin Clusters, Raisin Bran, Life, Corn Flakes, and I love Oatmeal. I make my Oatmeal with milk instead of water, and then I slice a banana on top, a Tbsp or two yogurt, you can use plain or a flavoured yogurt cup, and then I sprinkle cinnamon on top, I've also used a cut up apple instead of a banana. It is so yummy, it tastes like a dessert.

Re: What is your favorite cereal?
I very rarely eat cereal because I'm lactose intolerant and I don't like any of the "fake milks" I've tried. And cereal without milk is not appealing.
If I decide I'm willing to brave the milk belly ache though, I enjoy Cinnamon Life, Wheat Chex, Frosted Mini Wheats and Grape Nuts.
