Mothers Day Dinner
So what's on the menu for Mother's Day? Anything special planned?

Re: Mothers Day Dinner
I'm going to my cousin's house; they just bought a new home so it's a combo Mother's Day/open house/confirmation party. I'm going to bring carrot cake cupcakes (using Jeannie's recipe of course), and hummus.

Re: Mothers Day Dinner
I decided while we were at the grocery store today. We are having the lemon butter peel and eat shrimp and some broccoli for dinner tomorrow. YUM!

Re: Mothers Day Dinner
Going to my dads for a pool party tomorrow. Theme is Mexican mostly so I am bringing refried beans and a strawberry pie since Sierra has been asking for it ALL winter long. Lol!

I spent the day with my Father, Dear Hubby, and Dearest Daughter... At my Father's place.
He had smoked pork ribs and half chickens, cornbread, refried beans, salad, and strawberry shortcake using angel food cake instead of shortcake.
Spent most if the day on the firing range, and most of the evening drinkin' Shiner Black on the patio.
Really fun and relaxing day!

My Father lives on 40 acres, and has a natural "range" down one of the little roads. He just bought 60 acres about five hours from here because his place has grown up to where there are subdivisions all around him and the dwellers FREAK when we're shooting...
Urban sprawl has encroached. :-/

We stayed in and watched the hobbit and red dawn, Chip made me my favorite meal. Grilled steak, butter beans with burnt butter green beans.
