38 years later....

The little girl finally likes mustard. I always use it in recipes but just mustard on a brat or hot dog? I would never!!!!

Took me 38 years to find out its perfect for them!

funny how taste buds change huh? I love only mustard on a good dog. I recently learned I love raw onions. Never would go near them til now. And jalapenos on food. Used to hate them on pizza but now I eat it that way often.

Welcome to the world of mustard! I love mustard but I think when I was little, I was more of a mayo girl. Lisa, now you'll have to explore all the different kinds of mustards that are out there!
cali~jenn, i used to eat raw red onion and mustard sandwiches. It became such a joke that one day a few friends presented me with the most beautiful crate of red onions I've ever seen for my b-day!

Interesting! I love red onion but it actually has a good amount of calories so I had to cut it from my daily salads. Sad! Also, interesting fact I learned from Rachel ray show... Onions can cause migraines. I was eating a lot of them for a bit and was getting the beginnings of migraines after dinner. Saw the show and cut back the onion.... No more migraines.

Calories in 2 tablespoons of red onions are 8 calories! I just bought one two days ago so i've been logging it into My Fitness Pal I did not know about the migraine connection however.

See, I was putting 1 slice of red onion and it was something like 60 calories or something on myfitnesspal. Maybe it was a bad count? I will go look now and see....

Yep, just looked and it said 64 for 1 slice. After seeing the other ones there I see that must have been wrong. Lol good to know I can have some more often!
