    What will you be cooking for the 4th of July Holiday?




    Figured I'd post this question now before the busy, holiday week starts for all of us.

    My aunt just called me and asked me over to her house for the 4th so I won't be doing any major cooking myself. But, she did ask me to bring dessert so I'm going to do a variation of Lari's Marshmallow Fluff recipe which just sounds so refreshing and summery. And, I've been really wanting to make Lisa's Snicker's Dip recipe so I might do that one too!

    Okay, now it's your turn...whatcha got planned for the 4th of July??

    Well, I will be camping so not actually celebrating the 4th exactly. My dinner ideas for my trip are carne asada tacos with chimichuri sauce (served with a blakc bean salad) Korean ribs (with corn on the Cobb) and the 3 rd night bacon wrapped hot dogs. Yum.............

    All that sounds sooooo good!!! Being sick this weekend actually made me feel very hungry, even tho I couldn't eat very much, but after reading your post, I'm absolutely ravenous!!! I love Korean ribs...and corn on cobb, and bacon wrapped hot dogs...and those tacos...pretty heavenly. When do you leave for camping? Sounds like a GREAT time!

    We leave weds night, can't wait! Think of these dishes I am most excited for the Korean ribs. Have been wanting them for a long time and they r soooooooooooo good! Never ad chimichuri before tho so am exacted to try that on my tacos.
