What is your favourite
If you had to pick a meal for someone to cook for you what would it be? Mine would be for an Entrée - I would have scallops wrapped in bacon, Main Meal -Roast pork with perfect crackle and veg's and for Desert - sticky date pudding.

Buttermilk fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread with whipped butter. Dessert would be warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream!

Re: What is your favourite
Omg I have so many absolute favorite things..... Let me try and pick something...
jalapeño poppers for an appetizer would be yummy but then again those bacon wrapped scallops wouldn't be bad either.
King Crab legs with lotsa butter, served with a baked potato with lots of cheese, bacon, sour cream, etc...
Dessert..... Could be anything, I don't eat a lot of dessert but I love it all. Apple pie with crumble topping is a fav.

Re: What is your favourite
My favorite would be snow crab legs and lots of them and artichokes with warm melted butter to dip both in. No appetizer needed and no room left for dessert.
We love Joe's Crab Shack too. But it is so expensive and we have found we can prepare crab legs and artichokes so much more reasonably priced at home. Plus it is one of the easiest meals there is to make.
We only have it 3 or 4 times a year as a special meal though. Birthdays, Anniversary, or Christmas...that sort of thing.
But Ftse 100 I also love bacon wrapped scallops. Never have tried to make them myself. Perhaps someday I will.

Re: What is your favourite
I have made them myself but they don't taste any where as nice as at Mortons that was the first place I had them and have them every time I go back. We don't get the snow crab legs here in Australia so we have to have them when we come there as we really like them, do you have mud crabs there? I can't remember if I have seen them or had them.

Mmmmmmm!
Escargot swimming in real butter with garlic, fresh Ceasar salad, followed by Prime Rib... Garlic roasted potatoes and fresh buttered asparagus. Plain cheese cake for dessert.
I'm easy, albeit expensive.And garlicky!

Re: What is your favourite
I am thinking I want everyone's meals. Lol! I haven't heard of mud crabs. Sow crabs r good but too much work for me. I am lazy so that's why I like the king crab legs.

Re: What is your favourite
Escargot is good although I don't eat it, or wouldn't necessarily order it myself. Hubby ordered it on the cruise some years back and it is actually very good but would probably only Sample rather than order it for me. Kinda like frogs legs, they r good but not something I really wanna order.

Re: What is your favourite
Our favourite place to eat out is Canyon Creek Steak House, so I would want sautéed mushrooms, Ceasar Salad, an all dressed baked potato with sour cream, chives, and bacon bits, a bacon wrapped filet mignon steak, and for dessert, a slice of cheese cake. Yum
