Crock pot reccomendations
I have been interested in purchasing a crock pot lately and was wondering what brands and models you experts use or would recommend

Re: Crock pot reccomendations
I love my crock pot, poor thing is on all the time between making dinners and home cooked meals for my bullies!
I'd certainly say don't go for a smaller one. The large oval ones are so much nicer than the round ones. The more settings the better- high low and if you can find one with a warm option go for it.
I'll have to look to see what brand mine is.

Re: Crock pot reccomendations
Can't say the brand cuz I need a new one myself actually. Mine works good but is beat up a little and falling apart. I want one that is huge and comes with a locking system or carrier. I take my crock pot to parties and traveling with a full one isn't easy. They make ones with timers and all that but I wouldn't need that so much. I have a wonderful little crock pot for dips and stuff and it comes with a big band that holds the lid on and an insulated carrying case which is awesome. I just haven't found a large one similar yet.

Re: Crock pot reccomendations
I have a large, oval one...LOVE it!! It has a warming option which is nice. The brand is Hamilton Beach and it hasn't let me down for the last 6years or so that i've owned it.

Re: Crock pot reccomendations
Thank you all so much for the input. Based on your expert recommendations I will look for an oval one with warming feature and that is travel friendly. Sounds easy enough
