Thread: What is your favorite condiment?

I thought I'd throw this topic out here today after buying a tube of anchovy paste at this cute little French grocery store/cafe in town. I love anchovies so thought it'd be fun to try out this paste. So far, I've spread some of it on an egg salad wrap I made for lunch and also for dinner tonight I used a dab in some stir fried noodles. It's a rather pungent, powerful flavor so a little goes a very long way. I like it and will find many uses for it in my cooking.

My go-to condiments are definitely plain yellow mustard and mayonnaise.

How about you guys? What are some condiments you just can't live without?

If we don't have ketchup or Ranch, this momma is in TROUBLE!! I usually keep one extra of each on hand! I just realized last night that my ketchup was nearly gone after having hamburg looked for that extra bottle and OOPS i've been slacking apparently!

Horseradish mustard or actually have been using the jack Daniels mustards lately that r yummy too! I love ranch but don't use it everyday so much. Think mustard is my answer here.

mmmm...love ranch dressing too but i don't normally have that on hand.

Forgot to mention another couple that I use at every meal: Chili Garlic Sauce, made by a local company. Comes in a good size jar...love this stuff, and Siracha...good stuff!

Not a fan of siracha although hubby loves it. I prefer the garlic chili sauce but can only put it in things rather than use as a topper. It is good but very hot. Lol henny, it is good mixed into ranch! I just realized I hadn't posted a chicken recipe that uses it and ranch as a marinade. Mmmmmm.... Added it now tho.

I'd have to say ketchup is a favourite around here, but I also use a lot of roasted red peppers, ( not really a condiment) but I like it on breaded veal on a bun, or as a side dish. Love roasted red pepper on pizza too.
