Removing grease smell from clothes or uniform
Oh my gawd.... My son works in a resturaunt and his uniform smelled so bad!! Even after washing several times (I use Tide he and Downy!) I could smell them from several rooms away! I do have a good sniffer but this was driving me crazy.
Not only that, he had to wear them to work! Ewwww
Could not bleach because they are black uniforms. Finally did a search and found this:
Use 1/2 cup white vinegar with laundry soap.
Worked like a miracle!!! Yay!!! Fresh smelling uniforms are awesome.

Vinegar is such a great product for all kinds of things around the house. Didn't think of using it on clothes though so good to know!

Re: Removing grease smell from clothes or uniform
I should use vinegar in the washing when washing the rags from the truck with diesel on, I use a capful of vinegar in my steam mop when doing the floors and leaves a nice fresh smell

I'm going to use vinegar the next time I wash the doggy's blankets and drool rags. Those things smell...

I'm allergic to perfume & many cleaning products bother me. I use white vinegar for everything... Floors, bathrooms, you name it!!!
