    It's still 100 degrees out but...




    I had to make soup!!! It was so good and worth having the AC going all day long, and that pot of chicken tortilla lime soup I'm sure costed a pretty penny in the end, but so worth it!!

    Can't wait for cooler weather, because I want more soup !

    Set the slow cooker outside to lessen the impact of the heat inside? I have a food dryer that cranks out hot air, and he goes outside on the patio when I am using him, too!

    I do use a crock pot a lot but when I make soup I make the broth from scratch with a whole chicken, so it's too much of a pain.

    I also just made a pot of cream of potato but we had a slight bit of cooler weather plus rain! Yay!
