    Coconut oil foam

    Coconut oil foam

I decided to deep fry our chicken strips tonight using coconut oil. But completely surprised me was that it creates a foam similar to butter when used for the frying.

while it tasted excellent, it was not easy to cook because I could not see the food!

I like to sautee in CO but i have not deep fried with it. I like to use lard or beef tallow for deep frying. Mmm...fried chicken looks good, even if it looks a little "disease" ridden!
