I bought Steak Umms..
I have never ever bought Steak Umms. Last week at my local grocery store they had them on buy out. (Meaning not going to sell no more) Regular price was $5.99 for 8 pcs. and on clearance for $2.00. I bought 4 boxes. Now.... what to do?? I am thinking, going to buy Cresant Rolls, make into a big sheet, cook Steak ums with onion, green pepper's, mushrooms. Put all inside Cresant Roll, add lots of Mozzarella fold and bake. Like a big Philly. Any one else buy these and have ideas?? Never had and hopefully not nasty!!

Steak Ums are another blast from the past!! Again, something I didn't know was still made. Kelly, your idea w/the crescent rolls sound very tasty. Be sure to update us on how this turns out.

Ok, trying this tonight, everything is done except the actual baking it. Again I have never had Steak Ums, I really didn't like the smell while pre-cooking so I added some spices. I went with a refrigerated pizza dough. I sautéed onions, green peppers, and mushrooms and tons of Mozzerella cheese. We shall see...

EW, EW, EW, Gross and nasty, of course Joe Loooved it. I told you it smelled weird while cooking, well it tasted just as bad. I think I got in my head it as going to be nasty, and I think it was!! Joe want's a "do over" I told him when he is a bachelor I would give him the recipe, lol!!! This gets a big thumbs down!!
