Oh, mine is definitely the GREAT Julia Child. From the old TV shows I've seen of her and from what I've read about her, she's the epitome of a great chef. She was such an interesting, intelligent chef who brought adventure into the kitchen and wasn't afraid of making mistakes. She also wasn't afraid of things like butter and cream and sugar...Love that woman! plus she had a great sense of humor.

Who is your favorite chef or cooking idol?
After much thought my idols were always the people who I was cooking with (friends, mom, Mother in law). I never had a celebrity idol. Now though I think it's Gordon Ramsay because I LOVE watching him cook on his youtube channel, and I like his TV shows, and he has inspired me to try new things and relit my passion for cooking. Plus he has a bulldog

I was going to say Gordon Ramsay too as I watch him every Tuesday night and I have to say I do a lot of laughing watching him love how he just swears at them and says what he is thinking.
