Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup salt
One 5-pound chicken, quartered
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Alabama White BBQ Sauce, recipe follows
For the Alabama White BBQ Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

That looks delicious. Isn't that a bit too much sugar though? Maybe I'm just used to less.
