Thread: I love Bacon!

I just wanted to tell you all how much I love Bacon.

Do you love bacon? If so, post your undying love for bacon here. I love recipes that include bacon, and a breakfast with eggs must include bacon. Or pancakes and bacon. Or french toast and bacon. Show me what you got.

I love bacon so much, I would probably buy these band aids!

Haha thats funny. I dont eat it often BUT I do love it. Nothing better than a good BLT although very few places seem to have it down to where I am not disappointed. How hard is it, really?!?! In fact when I was first prego with Sierra that was my first craving. Didnt know I was prego yet but was all over those.

I love a good old bacon buttie for breakfast...you cant beat it

Connor fell in love with the crispy bacon he got served with pancakes when we were in Florida a couple of years ago.
I have tried to duplicate it without success so far so hints wold be much appreciated.....do you use streaky bacon?

easy peasy!!
Bacon Buttie (sandwich )
2 slices soft white bread with lashings (lots of) of butter or spread if you prefer.
3 slices best back bacon, grilled until brown and crispy.
now for the tricky bit
place bacon on buttered bread add tomato ketchup or Brown sauce (if you have it there) to taste
place other slice on top and enjoy the yummy breakfast taste....slice buttie in half if you need to be posh.

I have heard of brown sauce [MENTION=6]Lambchop[/MENTION] only because I have lots of friends from across the pond and it came up at the golf forum I used to frequent. They even posted a picture of it for us. This came up because they did not know what a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was, they thought we made it out of Jello.

It was one of the funniest things to read I swear!

ah well I am educated see I know that Jelly isnt the wobbly stuff we enjoy with Ice-cream over here.
