    Self cleaning ovens STINK!!!




    Call me old fashioned, but I cannot stand the smell!!! So I stick with Easy Off oven cleaner. How about you?

    Cant stand it either BUT I love cleaning when it involves no work, so I use mine when I can remember in the winter anyhow. Missed this last winter so my oven is in NEED as soon as it gets cold here.

    I am kind of afraid of the high heat it uses....I'm kind of paranoid about fire in general. So I just used easy off and cleaned ours last weekend.
    I will admit that it was WAY overdue, because oven cleaning just isn't high on my priority list.
    The newer no fume easy off worked pretty well though...I did the overnight method since it was overdue.

    I have never used the self cleaning oven feature. I just clean it out the old fashion way too.
