Do you still use your cookbooks?
I mostly turn to the internet for recipes these days, but I still love to hang onto my beloved cookbooks. I had a bunch more before moving but gave them away just 'cuz they were taking so much space and too heavy to pack.
This is what my collection looks like right now.
Do you still use your cookbooks when looking for recipes or the internet?

I still keep mine as well but they are now collecting dust because of how easy it is to get on the Internet for a good and RATED recipe. Speaking of ratings, don't forget to rate recipes here, you get points to spend in the gift market if you do!

Re: Do you still use your cookbooks?
I used to have a large collection of cookbooks, but it shrinks after each move, especially the most recent one across country. Now I just hold on to my favorites. I think I have about 10 now.

I have a small collection of cookbooks and yes I use them. My problem is I have such a big evolving amount of recipes that there are many I only cook once cuz I forget about them. My folder of printed recipes is beyond out of control. Used to be all organized and now is a heaping pile to shuffle thru each week. (while continually adding more)

Re: Do you still use your cookbooks?
I have saved only 3-4 cookbooks... the things I find I use the most are the family recipes, from my mother, grandmother, and even GREAT-grandmother! Some of the ingreds have changed over the decades, but a bunch of it remains usable!
When I need something "different," I pop on here (OK, well, except for the break, but I had already saved a bunch of stuff in .PDF files) or a couple other places.
Dear Hubby is more adventurous and subscribes (or checks daily?) on this "other" site who has some good stuff... He does 90% of our cooking lately, knows I'm havin' a hard time and all, and has come home with some seriously interesting things to cook! LOL!
So, I guess the answer is half 'n' half. I use fambly stuff, he finds/adjusts Internet recipes!
