what kind of cake do you have to have?

My favorite birthday cake is a strawberry cake with whip cream and sliced almonds. My parents used to get it for me from a place in Chinatown called Phoenix Bakery. The cake was a very light, yellow cake frosted with the lightest of whipped cream, with sliced fresh strawberries in between the layers and sliced toasted almonds covering the frosting. It is so, so good and luckily, this bakery is still in business so I can still get this cake for special occasions.

What is your favorite birthday cake?

That cake looks amazing, I would love that too!!! Lol I like dark chocolate cake w/whipped topping. The family usually buys me a cake from the grocery store, but this year I'm gonna lay big hints that I want a bakery cake!!!

When I was a kid my mum always made me a pavalova with cream, strawberries, passionfruit but I am unable to eat this with cream now so it is not the same. last year Richard bought me a chocolate mud cake from the cheesecake shop which was supposed to be gluten and dairy free and was so expensive and guess what after eating It I was so sick as when I have eaten something with this in.

I love hummingbird! I've made them as cupcakes, not a whole cake. It's gooooood!

one of My favourite's when I could eat it was white chocolate balack forest cake so I guess it was called white forest cake I used to make it for my son on his birthday and it was delicious I will have to look for the recipe and try to convert it.
