Re: Local, farm-raised, seasonal, organic veggies delivered to my door...
Mmmm... I am excited, I actually found a very close, local farm store just 5 minutes away. Never knew it existed until this week. They had the best strawberries! I will never buy them from the grocery store again. I waste my money there every time and they r never that sweet. These ones were like candy and didn't turn on me before we could eat me. And has the best tasting lettuce. I usually am lazy and just buy the pre packaged spring mix but here i bought a couple diff types of lettuce and spinach and made my own, sooooooo much better! And cheaper!

Yayyyy!
I am all wiggggly for you!
A trick for your Strawberries and other delicate berries... when you get them home, immediately rinse them off, and then float them for just a few minutes (5?) in a mixture of mostly water with just a few tablespoons of vinegar (any kind, doesn't matter) in it. Drain them well, I lay mine on a paper on the counter for a little while to let the moisture evaporate, while I wash out their original container with hot soapy water... The PH change keeps them from fuzzing up on you!

Dear Daughter and I were enjoying fresh Mojitos from the mint plant from last delivery... I like the perpetual herbs with which they surprise me!

Ooh lookin good! Made kale chips last weekend and they were shockingly good. BUT I salted as if they were potatoes so it was beyond salty. Well make again tho with less. The 4 year old liked them even.
