No, it is a leafy green veggie. Looks similar to a big lettuce leaf but is a much heartier leaf.

Kale is a form of GREENS. Like collards, mustards, etc.
VERY good for you. Pretty tasty. Versatile -- limp it, or cook it mushy, or eat it raw, or even put it in a smoothie!
Easy to grow. It's a popular Southern yard veggie.

Taters, various peppers, bag of BEPs, squash, onion/shallots, dill, mini pumpkins, key lines, sweet potatoes, pears, etc.

Fall must be a more expensive season. Lol the popcorn corn? Are you supposed to cook it and pop it? I always thought of that corn as decorative.

Popcorn... Yes, it pops. You roll it off the cob, heat a cast iron pan to just below smoking, drop in the kernels, drop a glass lid on it, and shika-shika-shake...
So much more tasty than commercial popcorn!
Popcorn is different from regular corn in water content. Some of that Fall corn is regular corn.
