Movies with a FOOD theme?
I love watching movies that are centered around food. Here are a few of my favorites:
Babette's Feast--a Danish film about a woman who becomes a cook/housekeeper for two spinster, elderly sisters; it culminates in an elaborate meal that Babette prepares for her employers. It's a wonderful, mouth watering feast for the eyes!
Eat Drink Man Woman--a retired Chinese chef cooks these delicious meals for his three daughters. It's quite heart warming, funny, and yummy to watch!
and one I just saw the other night for all you sushi lovers:
Jiro Dreams of Sushi--a documentary about the most famous sushi chef in Tokyo who is in his 80's but still very active as a sushi chef.
Anyone else have some faves?

Re: Movies with a FOOD theme?
Lisa, I saw Animal House like maybe...20years ago!! hehe...i cannot remember that scene. At first i thought you meant ZITI,as in the pasta...but you meant Zit...like acne??
How about Like Water For Chocolate? Anyone see that one? I didn't but it was centered around...duh...chocolate!
Funny but all the movies i've mentioned are foreign films.

Re: Movies with a FOOD theme?
I sadly don't watch movies often. We have had some saved in TiVo that have been there for many months. All that comes to mind is apple pie from American pie I think it's called.
not a visual that makes me hungry tho. Omg!
