    Hot German Potato Salad

    It is by no means diet friendly or heart healthy but I love it so much I have to indulge sometimes which I did last night and it was SOOO worth it!

    6 lg. potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 tbsp. sugar
    2 tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    Dash of pepper
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. cider vinegar

    Boil potatoes with skins on. Cool. Then peel and slice. In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and in bacon grease fry chopped onions until soft. Stir in sugar and flour. Salt and pepper. Mix well.

    Gradually stir in water and vinegar. Boil 1 minute then add potatoes and bacon. Simmer over low heat until ready to serve, the dish should simmer for at least 30 minutes to thoroughly blend all the flour.
