Thread: Bacon potatoes (to go with any meat dinner)

This is not a "full dinner" but a different twist on a boiled potatoes

1kg (more or less depends how much you need) small/baby potatoes
2 spring onions thinly sliced, greens reserved
1 tbsp oil
20 slices bacon chopped into a small pieces
2 tsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp english mustard
1 tsp. dijon mustard
Half onion chopped in small pieces

1. Cut the potatoes in half Cook the potatoes with skin in NOT salted water till cooked
2. Heat oil in a pan and cook the bacon until crisp. (Set aside)
3. In the same pan, fry onions until they are soft and golden
4. Add the vinegar and mustard and then the potatoes and bacon and mix together.
5. Just before serving add chopped spring onion

What is English mustard? Anyone know? I would really like to make these soon!

Hmm not sure what thiis is in us -but i suppose taste is similar to your hotdog mustard (frenchies? )
