    "Smoked" Beef Brisket


    1 4-5 pound beef brisket
    1 teaspoon celery salt
    1 teaspoon seasoned salt
    1 teaspoon garlic
    1 teaspoon meat tenderizer
    4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 bottle Liquid Smoke

    Combine dry ingredients and sprinkle over entire surface of brisket. Combine liquids and pour over. Cover and marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator.

    Bake, covered, for 8 hours at 225 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 8 hours.

    Slice while cold. Cover and heat at 200 degrees for 2 to 2-1/2 hours.

    Serve with barbeque sauce on the side.
