6" unsliced hoagie buns, hollowed. prepare buns by shaving a thin layer off the top of each roll and remove some of the bready interior so you are left with a "submarine".
Brush with olive oil
Fill with Provolone cheese and place on baking sheet. Bake at 450 until buns are lightly browned and cheese melts.
Fill with your favorite hot cooked meatballs in a marinara sauce. Allow 2-3 meatballs per roll. Top subs with more sauce and grated provolone cheese.
