Country Ribs, Sauerkraut and Dumplings
Country Cut Ribs in the quantity you need for your family.
Jar of sauerkraut
Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning
Bisquick baking mix.
Place ribs and kraut Dutch oven. Add water to just cover ribs. Sprinkle with seasoning to taste.
(Bruce doesn't like hot spicy so I use it very lightly.)
Cover and bake @325 for 4 hours.
Put pan on stove top. Prepare dumpling mixture per package directions. Drop dumplings on ribs and kraut by heaping tablespoon full. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered and 10 minutes covered.
Enjoy!
This recipe also works very well with kielbasa sausage.
Simply heat through sausage and kraut. Add dumplings and enjoy a quick dinner.Last edited by LariP; 01-19-2013 at 05:43 AM.
