    Simply the best taco meat!




    My cousin started this recipe from i don't know where, but it is so-ooo good and easy too. It is the only way i make taco meat now. This is also very good with ground turkey for the healthier side. I assemble tacos using lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cheese, & sour cream. I also like to use this meat after I get bored the the idea of tacos and make a big taco salad out of all of the taco ingredients. Use a burrito size tortilla and spray it with pam and put it in a large heat safe bowl and broil on low for a couple minutes, until it crisps up. YUM!

    2 lbs ground beef
    2 (7 3/4 ounce) cans el pato tomato sauce (yellow can)
    15 ounces tomato sauce
    Minced onion
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    Cumin (maybe a tsp, I don't measure)
    Maybe some coriander

    brown ground beef in large skillet, drain off the fat and return to pan.
    add all of the ingredients, spices and sauces.

    let the meat simmer for a good half hour or so, until the most of sauce evaporates. prepare your taco however you prefer, fried or soft shell.

    Works great with turkey or even the chuck roast diced up small for taco meat as well.
