I finally got all the spices for this and gave it our test, it passed with flying colors! If you love the steaks and prime rib at the Outback Steakhouse, you will love this one on your steaks!

    1 teaspoonSalt
    2 teaspoonPaprika
    1 teaspoonFreshly-ground black pepper
    1/2 teaspoonOnion powder
    1/2 teaspoonGarlic powder
    1/4 teaspoonground coriander
    1/4 teaspoonGround Turmeric
    1/2 teaspoonGround Cumin
    1/8 teaspoonGround cayenne pepper; OPTIONAL!!!

Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
To prepare steaks with this seasoning: Preheat a flat grill or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Sprinkle some of the seasoning blend over both sides of each cut of beef.
Grill the steaks on each side to your desired level of doneness. Be sure to use tongs to sear all the edges of each steak to a rich brown color.

This recipe yields about 8 teaspoons of seasoning.

Ooh I used to buy top secret recipes steak seasoning which was a copycat to outback and was my favorite! I ran out a long time ago and totally forgot to replace it. Now I can make my own, yay! Going to use an old spice container and make a big container of it to keep on hand.
