    Crab/Shrimp dip

1 pkg. 8 oz. softened cream cheese.
    1 jar of cocktail sauce
1 pkg. of fake crab OR 1 container of real crab meat
1 bag of the tiny shrimp found in the freezer section, thawed (can't think of the name)
    1 box of Sociable crackers

Spread cream cheese onto cookie sheet (small one)
pour cocktail sauce on top and spread out
crumble either the fake or real crab on top
Sprinkle with the tiny shrimp...oh what are the names of those? The real tiny ones.

Use a butter knife to spread onto cracker.

I have used real and fake crab meat, the real is about $12.00 a container here, the fake is just fish made to look like crab and is very good as well. I usually use the fake and people love it.

I totally LOVE this. Although I have never spread it, just put the block of cream cheese on a plate and dumped the sauce over it, like ice cream, sprinkled with shrimp. I think next time I try it your way with the crab meat too. Sounds YUMMY!!!!

I like to do this too, only I just mix everything together in a bowl. (allow the cream cheese to soften to room temp first to make mixing easier)

I also make it using Ketchup and Horseradish with a couple splashes of hot sauce instead of ready made cocktail sauce.
