Restaurant Style Salsa
Restaurant Style Salsa
2~28oz. cans whole peeled tomatoes
1~bunch green onions
1~bunch cilantro
7~yellow chili peppers
salt, pepper, garlic to taste.
Lime isnt written but I am sure I usually add some also...
Blend tomatoes and put in a big bowl.
Blacken the peppers and steam in a bowl covered with saran wrap or in a ziploc bag for 15-20 minutes.
Remove the skin and stems.
Chop onions and cilantro toss in the bowl then blend the peppers in a small amount of tomato sauce to give it some ability to move around in there.
Mix everything together, season and eat.Last edited by bullmama; 01-22-2014 at 09:21 PM.
