    Buffalo Chicken Dip




    Buffalo Chicken Dip

    6 large sized chicken breasts (or one 3-lb bag of frozen, skinless chicken breasts)
    2 8-oz softened cream cheese
    1 6-oz bottle of blue cheese dressing
    1 c hot sauce such as Frank's (more or less to taste)

    Boil chicken breasts for approximately 10 minutes. Drain and shred chicken breasts. Put shredded chicken breasts and hot sauce back in large saucepan; heat. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and ranch dressing. Pour cream cheese mixture into sauce pan with chicken and stir thoroughly. Pour chicken mixture into a 9 x 13 pan lightly oiled (or sprayed with Pam). Cook one hour at 350 degrees, stirring after 30 minutes.

    Serve with tortilla chips.

    This dip was so good and a total hit at a BBQ we had last Saturday. I felt like I needed to make something different for a change (I always make cali~jenn's jalapeno popper dip because it's AMAZING) and I am happy I did! The only thing I did differently was I used less chicken because that was just what I had, I used ~ 2.25 lbs and it honestly felt like it was plenty with that amount. Will definitely make this again!

    making this today for some football game/cookout! This is always a hit but I use the canned chicken for quick prep! Also attempting some mushroom chedder stuffed burgers! We shall see!

    I have made one like this, can't remember if it was posted here or not. I threw mine in the crockpot instead of oven and it worked well.

    Cook Time: 20
    INGREDIENTS:

    1 (8 oz.)pkg. PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

    1/2 cup FRANK'S® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce or FRANK'S® RedHot® Buffalo Wings Sauce

    1/2 cup Bleu cheese or ranch dressing

    2 cups Shredded cooked chicken.

    1/2 cup Crumbled bleu cheese or your favorite shredded cheese
    DIRECTIONS:

    PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

    COMBINE all ingredients in a 1-quart baking dish.

    BAKE 20 min. or until mixture is heated through; stir. Serve with crackers and/or vegetables.

    I love buffalo chicken dip. When I make it I usually through it in the mixer and it shreds the chicken really fine. So that the dip is really creamy.
