Houmous
400g can chick peas - drained
1/3 jar of tahini
Couple of garlic cloves, crushed. Or more
Lemon juice ... approx 1 whole lemon or to taste
A swirl of olive oil
Whizz everything in a blender. Turn into a serving dish and sprinkle with paprika
You can add caramelized onion,roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes etc

Yesterday I made it with baby carrots from, very nice.

This is what my after-work-before-dinner snack was today... except I had no stiff veggies, or pita, or corn chips to use for dipping -- so I used a spoon!

I love it with roasted red pepper, but everytime I've tried to make it it is not as good as store-bought. This looks different and I will try it tonight.
