This is a favorite recipe in our friend/family network- made it once and have been asked every get together since!! It's from a home cook style resturant/farm here called Mike's farm!

    8oz elbow macaroni
    8oz sour cream
    8oz mayo (not Miracle whip)
8oz shreded cheese chedder or a combination
    1/2-1 sleeve crushed ritz crackers
    1-2 tablespoons butter melted

Cook macaroni till tender, mix all ingredients except for crushed ritz and butter. pour into a baking dish, mix the melted butter and ritz crackers just to moisten and sprinkle on top of the macaroni. Bake covered 350 for 30-45 mins till hot and cheese is melted!

Easy to double/triple as it is equal amounts of each, never tried with low fat i was told everything full fat is of course the best!! You can add more cheese which i usually do! This is a wonderful mac-n-cheese!!

Wowza, this sounds so delicious and rich...the way mac 'n cheese ought to be! I like the use of Ritz crackers as the topper.

It is good but wowza fatning!! My husband hates that I only make it for Christmas or when asked for get togethers! It's soo good but one of those dishes you want all the time but not all those calories!! The best part is if you remeber the basic ingredients its just equal of everything! Easy to double triple! I made it Labor day weekend for a fish fry I made a triple batch (16oz*3), hubby was mad none was left! That was 3 pounds of uncooked macoroni!!
