    Stuffed Mushroom and Sage Dressing

    Stuffed Mushroom and Sage Dressing

    1 package cream cheese
    1 lb mushrooms chopped
    1 onion chopped fine.
Sage seasoned dressing croutons or Sage stove top dressing mix (I used the latter)
    1/3 cup white wine.
    2 TBSP butter
1 cup water or favorite broth.

Sauté mushrooms in Butter and wine. Add onion and sauté until clear. add cream cheese and stir until melted throughout and coating mushrooms. Stir in water or broth.
    Spray casserole with cooking spray.
Place croutons in dish, add mushroom cream cheese mixture and stir gently to coat.

    Bake 30 minutes @ 350.

Serve with gravy that compliments the meat you are having.

You could easily turn this into a main dish casserole by adding your favorite cooked meat prior to baking.

I made this today for our Easter dinner, along with a Turkey. One of the BEST stuffings I have ever had!!! Joe's absolute favorite!! So easy and so flavorful.
