    Beef Stew

    3 lbs stew meat
    1/2 cup flour
Celery 3 stalks, carrots- 4 large, onion-1 large, and 6-8 potatoes.
All cut into bite sized pieces. I prefer to peel potatoes, but that's a personal preference.
Vegetable oil - I usually cover the bottom of the pan with a few tablespoons full but never measure exactly

1 package slow cooker pot roast seasoning
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp lawreys seasoned salt
    2 Tbsp horse radish
    1 Tbsp better than bullion

    10 cups hot water

Put flour and dry seasoning in a gallon bag add meat and shake to coat well.

Heat vegetable oil in stew pot when hot add the coated meat and brown, stirring often to avoid burning. Once browned add water to meat and turn down to simmer.
Add carrots, celery and onion. Simmer on low for 3 hours. Add potatoes. Simmer one hour longer.

Serve with warm crusty buttered bread.
