    Billy's Cha Cha Martini

My son worked as a bartender for many years and gave me this recipe, which is an easy, cool summer drink.

    You will need:
    a metal martini shaker
    a chilled martini glass
the juice from one ruby red grapefruit
a good label vodka (I use Belvedere)
    sugar
    crushed ice

Dip the rim of the glass in ice water and sugar.
Fill the shaker about 1/2 full with crushed ice.
Add 2 shots of vodka and 1 shot of grapefruit juice.
Shake (until you can't hold the shaker because of the cold) and strain into the glass. You can garnish with a grapefruit peel curl if desired.

I normally don't measure. I like mine a bit stronger than this recipe. It's a matter of taste!
