    Low fat kiwi and banana smoothie




    this is fairly straightforward recipe
    rather than being very sweet thanks to kiwi it have aa bit of a tang to it

    • 2 bananas, peeled and chopped
    • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and roughly chopped
    • 5 tablespoons natural yoghurt low fat
    • 2 tablespoons milk (skimmed , or almond milk )

      Place all ingredients into a blender and blend for about 30 seconds or untill all the ingredients are blend together

      for extra chill *** few ice cubes and blend again

    Sounds very refreshing. I've never done a combo of kiwi with banana before but i'm curious to try as I love both fruits. I'm going to experiment with using almond and coconut milk since i'm not on dairy right now. Thanks for sharing!

    Low fat kiwi and banana smoothie




    Coconut might be a little bit overpowering-we tried a combo of strawberry ,banana and kiwi with more coconut milk and vanilla ice cream as a shake really and i could mostly taste coconut with a "fruity taste" ;-)

    Also a friend of mine suggested adding a spoonful of cherry jam -to the kiwi and banana -i need to try it out :-)
