    Fish La Cruz

This recipe is delicious and really has a unique flavor!

1 lb dorado or mahi mahi fish cut into medium size pieces
1 anaheim or green chili peppers coarsly chopped
    2 tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    5 dashes tabasco sauce
    tsp ground black pepper
    onion
    3 cloves minced garlic
1 cup cilantro (fresh not freeze dried!)
    1/8 tsp cloves
    tsp cinnamon
    tsp salt
    cup wine
    tsp cumin
    1 Tbs butter
    1 Tbs olive oil

    1. Combine wine, cloves, cinnamon, salt, ground black pepper, tabasco and cilantro in a pan with cover. Simmer until well blended. Add all vegetables and simmer together on low heat until desired consistency, minimum of 10 minutes.

    2. Put a Tbsp of olive oil and butter in a fry pan and heat, brown fish on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

    3. Grease an oven safe dish and put in browned fish. Top with sauce/vegetable mixture and bake uncovered at 375 for approx. 25-30 minutes or until fish is done.

    Re: Fish La Cruz

I made this the other night and did not have any fresh tomatoes, so I used canned diced and it turned out just as good. I also made it with Tuna. I think this could compliment any fish! Even the kids loved it.

I made it with a bed of rice, topped the rice with yoshidas original gourmet sauce and the that complimented the fish and toppings nicely.

But dangit I keep forgetting to take pictures of the meals!

@cali~jenn I just went to add that angry smilie and it was not there. But once I hit more smilies it popped up. So you are not crazy!
